Wow, just wanted to say this is an amazing horse. And I just happened to come across her name one day while surfing the internet and looked up all her races. She is amazing! And while watching these videos, I have rediscovered an old dream of mine… to be a jockey. It has always been a dream of mine, because I have been riding since I was 4. I am only 15 now and can not legally race until I am 16. But when I watched her races it was inspiring. This is such a wonder full horse. And you can see the love in her. I wish you all the luck. -CJ

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there.
This photograph makes me teary. How sweet. The love between Zenyatta and Anne Moss is so apparent, I just love it. Z is just so feeling and caring. She… knows.
Take care everyone.
And thank you, Dottie, for all that you are…and a Happy Mother’s Day to YOU!
Alene
Hi Zenny. Ann adores you and you her. Thats a very sweet and special photo. You have many special photos. I was cheering for ZAZU. She is gorgeous. She`s a grest horse as well. The most important thing is she has the Mosses for owners. That alone makes her a winner. Love you Zenny, nobody runs a race like you did. Sorry to say that but it`s very true!!! Yes, and next year it`s a baby for ZENYATTA!!!! Lots of Hugs and Kisses, Alene :-)

Touching Photo, Anne sure loves you Z. Happy soon to be momma day to you as well Z and to everyone. I’m not a momma was never able to have kids, but I’m happy to say I’m a momma to 32 birds, and I have had horses in the past. I think of my Mom every mothers day and on her birthday she passed away in 2002, she loved horses as well she would have loved you Z. And to Dottie thank you for keeping this here for all of us and happy day to you as well, without you and everyone we will be lost with out are Z.

Happy Mothers Day Zenny, Ann and Dottie. The picture of you and Ann is just priceless and full of true love and affection for each other. I took one glance and tears came to my eyes. I am so happy that the two of you remain so close and pray that it will always be that way. You are loved by so many but the love that you and Ann have for each other is very special. When you have your foal it will be cared for special also because of the love for you. I will cross hoofs and pray that you will have your foal by this time next year. Remembering your racing days and how wonderful you are Zenyatta. Stay safe and well and be happy. Love you Queen Z.

Janie
What a sweet picture of you and your mommy, Ann! I can see the love just flowing between you two. I was at Hollywood Park on Derby Day and bet on all 4 of John’s horses to win and 2 did! And I know, Zenyatta, that you were responsible for the record crowds at Churchill Downs on both Friday and Saturday… it had to be you! Happy Mother-to-be Day, pretty girl.

This is just a magnificent photo of you & Ann, Zenny. Very touching and made me wish that Ann could do what she once threatened, many moons ago, which was to retire you in the Mosses backyard! No question you are getting the best of everything at Lane’s End, but this image sure makes it clear where your heart lies…..
Happy Mother’s Day to you, Dottie. I can see that you and your son are close the way I am to my son. It’s in the body language.
Question: Are Mona de Momma and Tasty Temptation new to Zenny’s posse? And are the other “alumni” (other than PQ) still part of the original gang?
Barbara Wood
Lovely photo. Thank you so much for sharing. Zenny, maybe this time next year you could be a mom. Love you always.

Dear CJ:
Good luck with your dream to be a jockey. Let us know how it’s going for you when you begin to ride. Hugs, Judy B

@CJ-Don’t lose track of your dream. If you let it go without finding out whether you could achieve your goal, you could regret it for the rest of your life. I know of which I speak.

This is such a lovely picture. I don’t think no owner or owners visit their horse or horses like Ann does with Zenyatta. Truly, I think when the day comes that Zenyatta doesn’t continue to produce foals, I look for the Moss’s to ship her back to California, and if something happens that Zenny doesn’t foal well, I believe they would ship her back to California to be closer to them. I’m glad they own their own private plane, sure makes it easier for them to get to Zenyatta faster without all the fiasco that comes with catching a flight out.
Zenyatta is truly a special horse (well we all been knowing that) haven’t we? but, as long as Ann and Jerry have breath in their body, Zenyatta will always be cared for to the highest regards. I read that they have a cam on her in her stall so they can view her from home and talk to her by phone… Now, isn’t that just the best….considering she isn’t even racing anymore….. You have to love the LOVE they have for this horse….
Joan Walls
Dear Zenny, All of your adoring fans have their “hooves” crossed for you. We want to be the adoring aunts and uncles. We will all be so proud — BUT no prouder than you and your family in California. Love and hugs. Joan

@Abigail from Montreal. My question as well. Where are Alys and Seagull? Are they all right? Perhaps this change has been made because Z is in foal and the new mares are too? Speculation only, but it makes me wonder. Perhaps we’ll hear more about Z’s original paddock friends. Hope so.

What a wonderful photo! You are lucky to have such a loving mom … such a great role model for you when you eventually have a foal!
Jan
Zenyatta,
What a tender and loving picture of you and Ann. Have a nice day Big Mama. Happy Mothers Day to all you Mommies out there :) :)
Margaret
Z I came back to look at that wonderful pic again and if you look closely–there is hay on the floor in the back of the stall! Z gave up food for some serious mom time! I still can’t tell who’s luckier. I’d have to say they both are.
Kathy P.
Teary eyed again!!! Thanks for sharing such a sweet picture!!

Oh Zenyatta! This picture put a lump in my throat and makes my heart ache for you and for Ann. It must be so hard for her to leave you! You would look wonderful living in Beverly Hills!
I totally agree with Quarterhossgal, having horses at home IS heaven and I feel blessed to be able to walk out for a hug or treat. My barn is where I solve my problems and shed my tears into a horse’s warm neck.
Happy Mother’s Day to everyone!
Megan
Zenyatta, when I think of all the things that race horses have to endure, it’s a wonder that you have such a great personality. You were lucky to have such great owners, trainer and jockeys. I am hoping that next year truly will be Mothers Day for you.
