Good Morning!
It is another FUN day here at Lane’s End! I am trying to catch up on all of my BEAUTY SLEEP as there is a great deal of activity happening during Derby Week in town and I want to look my best!
I’ve just been told that I have OVER 80,000 Facebook Friends. This number has really grown since I’ve retired from racing. I can’t thank ALL OF YOU enough for wanting to keep in touch with ME! This is a HUGE number! I’m so proud!
Then The Moss’ and Dottie are coming into Lexington late tonight…so I’ll see all of them a great deal during the next few days. This is TERRIFIC! I am SO EXCITED! I also have some visitors coming who bid on visits with me for various charity auctions. This is always very rewarding. I am so happy to help others in any way I possibly can.
When reading the comments and responses, I am so glad that you enjoyed viewing the 60 Minutes piece again. Marilu V. asked if it was EL VINO working with me on the tape during the program. YES, it was! That is why John always said he deserved the award for SUPPORTING PLAYER! He worked with ME often to help prepare ME for my races and he did a FABULOUS JOB! What a GREAT GUY!
In life, it always takes people working together to make a difference. I was so very fortunate to have so many people who worked hard with me…and cooperated with each other to make it all happen for ME! I couldn’t be more grateful!
Over 80,000 FACEBOOK FANS! This is just TOO CUTE!
Blessing to all of you!
With Love,
Hugs to All~

Our family enjoyed the “60 Minutes” piece and DVR’d it so we can enjoy it over and over. We miss seeing you race, Zenny…the horse racing world is just not the same without our beautiful girl running. Enjoy your visit with your Cali family.

We are Blessed to have you Z. My daughter and I followed you and Mike on “Jockeys” TV program years ago. We bonded watching you two and your racing style. So, you are forever in our hearts, oh Fabulous Z!

One other comment. You started late in life, beat the odds, and had people that loved you enought to hold you back and let you come into your own. Finding Mike was the awesome duo. You roaring up on the competition from behind always was exciting…but that is what made us believe God created something special in creating you.

Mrs. Mary Werner
I am a 66 year old Grandmother, that has been watching racing all my life. I saw Bold Ruler, Swaps, Nashua,Native Dancer and many many fantastic horses including the Great Secretariat, ruffian and lots of others. I watched you run and I was struck by the way you came from behind, but mostly the way you pricked your ears while you ran!You seemed to say “Look out everyone, here I come”.I fell in love that first race I saw you run. Then when I saw you dance!! I cried! No wonder everyone has fallen in love with you!!You have brought me such joy! Bless you and your family. The Moss, the /sherriffs,Mario and his wife, and of course Mike! Thank you for all the joy and excitement you have brought into my life!! I love you Girl!!

O Ms Zenyatta, you have not told us your Oaks and Derby favorites yet. I am sure blush-blush was a hint, but we will not know 100% till the 45 day scan or more. Let us know your pick, I think we already know who you choose for the Oaks….me too. I love you…Lisa g

Dearest Queen,
Sleeping Beauty—that’s you! Get plenty of rest, dear girl, so that you can enjoy this exciting week ahead with all your friends.
I hope the sun shines down on you and all of Kentucky as we watch the three year old fillies and colts go at it. Remember when you were that age? Wow, what a life you’ve had since then! I wonder if you knew you were going to grow up to be the racing world’s brightest star? :)
Love you! XOXOXO

I just received email from Lane’s End that Zenyatta was not on the tour of the facility – only the stallion barn. I thought the public was going to be able to visit you. A group of us will be in Lexington in July for the Robert Murphy horse show. We wanted to come by then. The public had greater access to you when you were racing.
