Happy Saturday!
On May 10th, the PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS WOMEN of CALIFORNIA will be holding their yearly conference at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. This organization was founded in 1989 by U.S. Congresswoman Jackie Speier. It is dedicated to advancing the professional and personal development of women of all ages and and on all levels. The PBWC provides tools, resources, and a strong business community to encourage women to succeed and contribute at the highest levels in all aspects of various fields, businesses and industries.
I am honored to say that I have just learned one of my fans has spoken to them about ALL of my accomplishments as a Female Athlete who achieved this success while residing in California. As a result, the PBWC wants to include me in their program. How proud and flattered I am at this moment! I’m pretty sure a HORSE has not been part of their program before this!
The conference has 3 different presentations outlined for the day. They are CONNECT, EXPLORE and INSPIRE! My work and achievements have been selected to KICK-OFF the INSPIRE portion of the program. I will be followed in this part of the presentation by Carolyn Johnson from ABC 7 News, International Author, Isabel Allanda, and then America Ferrara, who is an Emmy Award Winning Actress for her role in the series, Ugly Betty.
If you are interested in learning more about PBWC or the conference, here is the link:
I can’t begin to tell you how truly elated I am at receiving this news! INSPIRE!! Wow!
It is gorgeous in Kentucky today. My pals and I are really enjoying this great weather. Then tomorrow…60 Minutes is airing an update on ME! I am so fortunate!
Have a very special weekend!
With Love,
Hugs to All~

Z…Incredibly, Wonderful You on 60mins…your races are still so thrilling to watch! Peace & Happiness to you Z!
S (in san diego)
60 minutes is just coming on here!! Yea. Just rewatched the original that I have saved.
@Jack W. While I would love to hear that our dear Z is in foal, I do not feel that Dottie owes us anything. When the time is right and she is safely in foal..I am sure we will hear all about it.
Cindy from LA
@Max
In the 2000 Frankel got so far ahead of everyone,
He started looking around for the other horses and
Got distracted so they almost caught up. Everyone
Is saying he races like an American Thoroughbred.
Of course he is Irish like Zenny. Street Cry is from
Ireland!!!! Go Frankel.
I sure hope Mo has a better work before the Derby. It
Was not much better than Stay Thirsty’s. Wish they had
Put Borel on Stay Thirsty or Mo. Guess Mike Repole
Was not keen with the idea. Glad to hear The Factor is on
The mend. What about Machen this weekend. A spectacular
Win at one turn. Guess he found his nitch!!!!!

Yes, I am all for getting Zenyatta on a stamp– I hope Dottie comments on this-please!! I watched the 60 min. show and I did love seeing Z –she is such a big girl–but found it a little disapointing– thought they were going to focus on her leaving CA and her move to KY-maybe talking to the Team more and Mr and Mrs Moss– but, anyway–it was great seeing her. Thanks to all!!! So, maybe we can make the “ZENYATTA STAMP” happen– I hope so!!!!!!!!
audreyc
I believe, if my reading memory serves me correctly, that there was a postage stamp for Secretariat. Therefore, one for Zenyatta would be quite fitting.
Paula Higgins
Max, Kim, Linda in NJ yes, yes and yes! Dona, I love the idea for a Zenyatta stamp by the U.S. post office. You are so right, it would probably put them in the black for the first time in years. I would by a page of stamps just to frame.
Hilltophorsewoman No Cal
Dearest Zenyatta, I just watched 60 Minutes too. What a walk down memory lane with you and the people who love you so much. I hadn’t noticed before that Mike had tears in his eyes when talking about you, and John was just so proud as were Jerry and Ann. You look so wonderful and it was funny that Pirate Queen was totally muddy and you were so spiffed up! I could tell you were very tempted to take a mud bath while being filmed. I love you and miss you SO MUCH!
Paula Higgins
Cindy from LA they didn’t want a super fast work for Mo or Stay Thirsty just before the Derby. Pletcher says it was exactly what he wanted. The Bloodhorse.com article says that they are really happy with the way Mo looks. That he looks like a different horse from 2 weeks ago.

DEAR QUEEN ZENYATTA, THE INSPIRE PHOTO OF YOU IS BEAUTIFUL. WOULDN’T IT MAKE A GREAT STAMP FOR THE POSTAL SERVICE. IT WOULD SELL OUT IN NO TIME, GIRL. I JUST FINISHED WATCHING YOUR 60 MINUTES PIECE AND IT WAS SOOOO GREAT. NATURALLY, I CRIED. YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION AND A GLORIOUS GIFT TO ALL OF US. I JUST WISH EVERYONE KNEW YOU. THE GOOD LORD GAVE YOU TO US AS A BLESSING. WE LOVE YOU,ZENNY. XOXOXOX
Robin A.B.
Zenny – I LOVED 60 Minutes tonight! Can’t get enough of our beautiful girl. I also giggled over the kick/hop in the field – just a taste of your delight in just being a horse, and a fabulous one at that!
Linda in NJ
Zenny: Would you please ask Dottie if it is possible for the U.S. Postal service to create a stamp of you. That would be so awesome!! The picture above is beautiful if only they could duplicate it.
Cindy from LA
Thanks Paula. The commentors on HRTV
Were not real impressed and they did not
Mentioned Pletchers comments. My gut says
Don’t run him in the Derby. Not sure about all
Of Repole’s secretive comments about his medical
Issues either. I really love Mo and am concerned
For him.

Good evening, Zenyatta
wow, wow, what a gorgeous mare you are :) :) :)
It was truly special to watch you and Team Z again on tv. And we got to see you and P. Q.,too, in your very fab paddock. I truly enjoyed watching it all again, and how trim you were then, you filled out a little bit, was that Charles holding on to you? And your Mike was just adorable, so come Derby Day,
GO MIKE GO “REMEMBER THE GIACOMO” the Silver Bullet that shot’em down.
I wonder how your barn buddy Zazu is shaping up for the Oaks? What a beau/beauty, kinda reminds me of Giacomo, tongue hanging out just like you. :) :) :)
It’s time for 40 winks & dreams of carrots & mints
stephanie bornstein
is there anywhere online i can watch the zenyatta 60 minutes coverage? they interrupted my coverage here with a special report. :-(
Barb France
I sure hope that the 60 minutes is on youtube…we were watching and they interupted her segment.
Kt
The 60 Minutes coverage on the west coast was interrupted by the a special report. Everyone who lived with Zenyatta did not get to see the show!!!!! Will it be aired again? It is not fair!!!
Vicki B.
Wow, it was so wonderful seeing Zenny on 60 min! But we will have to hope it will be replayed later, as it was interrupted before the end (PST) by the news about the death of bin Laden. Hoping to see you later, Z.
S (in san diego)
Ok..it is big news and good news… Bin Laden is dead. But i must admit there was a little piece(maybe not so little) thinking…seriously…did it have to happen during 60 minutes? :) :)
Janie
OMG! I can’t believe that Zenyatta’s segment was interrupted here in L.A. by “breaking news” of Bin Laden – just when they were going to show the updated footage. Hope they have it online…
AJ from CA
Hope that we on the westcoast can get access to the Zenyatta segment of 60 minutes that was interrupted by CBS. A bummer since I was really looking forward to the retirement part of her story. Glad the eastern and central folks got to see the whole segment though.
monica
dear zen… your west coast fans could not watch the complete 60 minutes segment they did on you because it was interrupted with the news about bin laden – is there any way we can see it? if you team knows how we can see it, please let us know – i wanted to see the new footage of you in kentucky – we miss you here in calif and were looking forward to seeing you – we miss you so much – any news would be greatly appreciated!!! with love to our calif/kentucky girl always…. from your friend, monica

NO FEAR….the entire piece in on line.
kirk
What the heck man? Ok Bin Laden died. Thank god for that, but I need to see how you are doing. Did you kill him? Is that why it happened during your segment? Are you part of some secret government special ops unit? I bet they rode you into afghanistan and wiped out that bastard. That’s the why I want to envision it…
Mike
Enjoy the Royal Party after the party!

Hi Zenny, like your other west coast fans, my mom and I didn’t get to see your entire 60 Minutes segment. I’m very disappoited. I was so looking forward to seeing the new footage. I hope they show your segment again very soon. If you hear anything, please let us know.
Love to all,
Leslie
S (in san diego)
@Kirk, lol. Yes our precious Z ran him down…but not in Afghanistan…she was in Pakistan! Mike was on board and they are both on their way back to Kentucky. They will probably get there before our President actually speaks on the matter.
Mike
Just a little royal fun, all in good humor!

All:
Oh, that is a real bummer for you guys out on the west coast. I am so sorry. That is really too bad.
Sharon in Seattle
west coasters – check out 60Minutes.com. I just did.
The best part was seeing Zenyatta dance on the blue grass!!! And the 60 Minutes commentator saying that the TV crew was heartbroken when Zenyatta came in second at the 2010 BC. SO WONDERFUL to see and hear John Sherriffs (sp?)
DJ
Dearest Sweet “Z”,
Missed your segment as it was the last shown and was cut into by breaking news. However, for those who also had the same misfortune…you can see it on http://www.hulu.com and click on 60 minutes. You were wonderful as usual “Z”.
