Happy Saturday!
On May 10th, the PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS WOMEN of CALIFORNIA will be holding their yearly conference at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. This organization was founded in 1989 by U.S. Congresswoman Jackie Speier. It is dedicated to advancing the professional and personal development of women of all ages and and on all levels. The PBWC provides tools, resources, and a strong business community to encourage women to succeed and contribute at the highest levels in all aspects of various fields, businesses and industries.
I am honored to say that I have just learned one of my fans has spoken to them about ALL of my accomplishments as a Female Athlete who achieved this success while residing in California. As a result, the PBWC wants to include me in their program. How proud and flattered I am at this moment! I’m pretty sure a HORSE has not been part of their program before this!
The conference has 3 different presentations outlined for the day. They are CONNECT, EXPLORE and INSPIRE! My work and achievements have been selected to KICK-OFF the INSPIRE portion of the program. I will be followed in this part of the presentation by Carolyn Johnson from ABC 7 News, International Author, Isabel Allanda, and then America Ferrara, who is an Emmy Award Winning Actress for her role in the series, Ugly Betty.
If you are interested in learning more about PBWC or the conference, here is the link:
I can’t begin to tell you how truly elated I am at receiving this news! INSPIRE!! Wow!

I hope Frankel wins the Triple crown, Brigadier Gerard was a miler but he won the King George at 12 furlongs. Yes I was very upset when he was beaten by Roberto, but if there had not been a Roberto there would be no ZENYATTA
I just wanted to say to Dottie I know that you worked for Bobby Frankel, I read that he was a perfectionist.
I feel that his essence is in the horse and he is still demanding perfection.

Paula, Judy, Russ, Max… I also agree with all of you. Ingrid.

Went to Hollywwod Park yesterday Zenny. It
was a beautiful Saturday and I thought so
much of you. I got to see your Jerry and
John and they looked so much alike walking
together. It was too cute! Miss you lots!
Look forward to seeing you on 60 Minutes
tonight!
Love & Blessings,
Kathy from SoCal :)

@Donna and Frankel fans. Thanks for reminding me of Frankel’s connection to Team Z. It is indeed great to see the name of a great trainer being carried on so proudly by a great horse. If you watch his earlier races when he comes from behind, Frankel looks to the side at the other horses as if to say – “what are you horses doing in my race?” – and then takes off to win. In the 2000, he just went for it from the beginning saying -“I am the winner.” That race is a wonderful salute to his namesake. Go Frankel!

This video was uploaded Oct.22,2010. It is to the song “The Impossible Dream” . The lyrics say it all to me.

Happy May Day to you Zenyatta, and also to all who care for you! What another great honor for you, and your photo on the stamp is beautiful too. Glad you are having beautiful weather in Kentucky so you can have fun with your pals. At present it is snowing her in CO. It always snows on the lilacs and they are just starting to bloom. We’ll be watching 60 minutes tonight to see you!

nancyalis
Zenyatta, you are truly an inspiration to us all !!
Sally (B)
One more thing dear Z!! This photo by Mr. Kaiser should become a U.S. postal stamp just like they have other special stamps.
I wonder how one would go about that? I will be watching you on 60 mins with love, admiration, and smiles! love you with a kiss on your soft nose.
p.s. I’m late with this thought would someone tell me if you read this? Thanks

Wow, Zenyatta! What another amazing honor! You are truly the female athlete we admire! Always nice to hear you’re enjoying your retirement! Luv you!

Dearest, Zenyatta. Sorry about that, I must have hit the enter key before I was done. Oh, well, I will start again. I was just saying that the picture was gorgeous. It is so wonderful that you are receiving recognition from the PBWC!!! They could not have choosen a better female to represent the word “INSPIRE”. You are the enbodiment of that word each and everyday and of course in race 20 your inspiration literally shown like a becon. I myself am a longtime career women, as I know many who post here must be. After I received my Master’s I spent about 8 years in California working in marketing and management for a major bank. I am in awe of another member of Team Z and that is our Dottie. She has to be one of the most outstanding professional business women of California that I know. What she has accomplished in her lifetime and continues to handle on a daily basis is amazing!!!! Both of you make a fabulous and “inspiring” Team Z contingent, Zenny. I am so happy you had sunshine in Kentucky today. It must have felt so good after all of the rain. I watched the Rolex Cup competition. I enjoy three day eventing very much. I will be cheering on the U.S. Team in the 2012 Olympics. And next Friday and Saturday will be so exciting, I can’t wait. 60 Minutes will be on shortly, YEA!!!! Bye for now Zenny. Sweet dreams. Hugs and kisses. XXXOOO
@Shari – Hope your wonderful 25 enjoy their Derby cake. Sounds yummy to me! And, yes, I thought the dress was amazing.
@Abigail and Donna – Loved watching Frankel. It has to mean a great deal to all of those who loved Bobby to see such a marvelous colt named after him. I know Dottie has to be smiling.
@Amanda Gilliland – Your post was beautiful. Alabama and other areas hit by the storms are still very much in my prayers.
