Happy Saturday!
On May 10th, the PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS WOMEN of CALIFORNIA will be holding their yearly conference at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. This organization was founded in 1989 by U.S. Congresswoman Jackie Speier. It is dedicated to advancing the professional and personal development of women of all ages and and on all levels. The PBWC provides tools, resources, and a strong business community to encourage women to succeed and contribute at the highest levels in all aspects of various fields, businesses and industries.
I am honored to say that I have just learned one of my fans has spoken to them about ALL of my accomplishments as a Female Athlete who achieved this success while residing in California. As a result, the PBWC wants to include me in their program. How proud and flattered I am at this moment! I’m pretty sure a HORSE has not been part of their program before this!
The conference has 3 different presentations outlined for the day. They are CONNECT, EXPLORE and INSPIRE! My work and achievements have been selected to KICK-OFF the INSPIRE portion of the program. I will be followed in this part of the presentation by Carolyn Johnson from ABC 7 News, International Author, Isabel Allanda, and then America Ferrara, who is an Emmy Award Winning Actress for her role in the series, Ugly Betty.
If you are interested in learning more about PBWC or the conference, here is the link:
I can’t begin to tell you how truly elated I am at receiving this news! INSPIRE!! Wow!
It is gorgeous in Kentucky today. My pals and I are really enjoying this great weather. Then tomorrow…60 Minutes is airing an update on ME! I am so fortunate!
Have a very special weekend!
With Love,
Hugs to All~

Sure wish the post ofice would come out with a postage stamp for our girl. Would paste it over everything going out in the mail so those that don’t know her would.
Tori
Zenyatta, you are a true insperation to all. COngrats on PBWC!I never knew a horse could have such power, beauty, and determination all at once until I saw you race. Happy retirement!
Love always,
Tori
Donna
Z you just keep on amazing me since the first time I saw you race.
I can’t wait to see you tonight on 60 minutes.
@MAX I have a signed Fred Stone print of Nijinsky with Lester Piggott up, he was an amazing jockey.
I have to say my all time favorite horse with the exception of Z of course was Brigadier Gerard who was beaten once, I am from York and I went to see him race there and he was defeated by ROBERTO and we all know who’s pedigree he is in. Fun Times

Ms Zenyatta, wow, this picture is beyond beautiful. You just keep on giving, your retirement is alot of work, but I know you still have time to play. I love you so. What are your picks for the Oaks and Derby? Waiting patiently. I love U forever..Lisa g
Barb
Where can I get a copy of the opening pic? It’s beautiful. I want to add it to my special horse wall. Centered between Secretariat and Man O War.

All I can say is just to agree about how very special you and your team are. Such a gift from God when this world so badly needs you. You have my heart dear Zenyatta-a very special lady.
Nancy
The photo of you is breathtaking. Another honor being bestowed to the wonderful horse and team. Fantastic! I can’t wait to see 60 Minutes tonight.
dunie
You will always be my inspiration, Zenny!
Katherine
You are truly inspirational, and I’m not surprised that the PBWC would want to honor you. You are that important!
Max
@Donna. It is easy to understand your love for General Gerard because he had an amazing career and was so popular in Britain. Is it not a strange coincidence that Roberto would be the only one to win against him and that you would fall in love with Zenyatta? Horses are indeed gifts. Now we have Frankel. I was super impressed by him in that race. I hope that there is a lot more to come with him.

Hey Everyone, listen up! Since the contest is over, here is a new endeavor for us—-getting Zen’s photo on a postage stamp! Go to Google, ask how a subject is chosen for a postage stamp, lots of information! There is a 15 member citizen’s advisory board who chooses the subject. They give an address to which you can submit your subject, however, it must be submitted 3 yrs in advance of publishing. They list a group of rules & I see nothing against submitting the name of a horse—so how about it folks, can we get this done? I say YES we can!

Hi Zenny & Team-Z,
You are a real, 100% pure INSPIRATION!!!
Congrats on being acknowledged as such.
Have a great day, and start to Derby Week.
Safe travels wished for all the horses and their connections…both going and coming home.
Hugs to all. Fondly, OraJean
Anna Wiley
Zenyatta! What a beautiful picture of you! I love the background. HAPPY DERBY WEEK, ALL!!

Beautiful Zenyatta, Another Wow post! The photo by John Kaiser is stunning but then look at the subject. When you first retired I commented to you that I felt the best was yet to come in your amazing career and you haven’t disappointed me yet. Your influence is branching into territory that no horse has ever entered before, but then, I do not think of you as a horse, simply my role model and best friend. I love you.

Dear Barb:
Check out Z’s post #216. That is another photo of Z by Mr. Kaiser. I googled him and e-mailed that very question. He e-mailed me back and said that he normally doesn’t make prints for sale, but that he would look into it for me. I asked for the photo on Post 216. You might want to e-mail and ask for a print of Post’s 234 photo, if that’s the one you would like to have. I haven’t heard from him yet, but he said he was headed to Kentucky in May to take some pictures of Mares and foals (maybe Z, we hope). Hugs, Judy B.

Dear Barb:
I just realized I noted the wrong Post No., it should be Post No, 235. Judy B
Molly
Thank you for the print information. I will definitely email Mr. Kaiser. Just checked the CBS – 60 Minutes website and there is a short teaser video of Zenyatta, previewing tonights show. Zeny you still are in the limelight. Love, Ya Zen.

Congratulations Zenyatta- One need only to look at that beautiful picture of You my beloved Queen to Know you are the epitome of Inspiration-Joy-Love-Life- Renewal & Beauty. That’s all without going into what a Great Champion you are. It is because of you I made it the last 3 yrs. You brought me nothing but JOY.I honestly think you should be declared a National Treasure.I will love you Til the Twelfth of Never….and I can’t hardly wait to see you back on TV where you belong tonight.

Joyce
@Judy B I also would be very interested in purchasing a print of the picture/stamp. I agree it is wonderful and would fit right in with my other pictures of our wonderful Queen Z. Hopefully, you will get some good information from Mr. Kaiser and there will be a way to purchase a print. Bet there are others on our site who would be interested, also. In the meantime, I plan to get my Zenyatta “fix” with 60 minutes tonight.
Love to you Z, xoxoxo
Annie
Has anyone heard any news lately about the Zenyatta pins? I would like to purchase several, if they are available. Sorry if this old news, but I’ve been busy. Thanks.

Zeny, I e-mailed John Kaiser. Seems like a nice chap. He is going to get back to me about prints. In fact, he just returned from a trip to Lexington, KY. Looking forward to seeing you tonight on 60 Minutes, Zenyatta. Love and Carrots from Texas.
Alex Bowdoin
Bobby Frankel must be smiling….Wow, this is one nice horse! Hello Queen Z, I have set the DVR for 60 minutes tonight. I am so looking forward to seeing you at LEF! I hope you are having fun with your gal pals in the paddock.
Charlotte A. Farmer
Congratulations, again, what a history making moment with the PBWC. Rightly so, for Oprah acknowledged your accomplishs. That’s one for the girls!
Wouldn’t it be nice if the world of thoroughbred racing took a leaf from Team Zenyatta’s book, and her fans, then racing wouldn’t be in the mess it is i.e. not enough new people being interested in the sport. They deemed the Preakness, the People’s Race and cite the crowds, but if you take a real look it is young people just partying, not there for the love of the sport and probably won’t be back to the track until the following year. That is not something to write home about.
What is needs is the backing that you have, putting forth the effort. Team Zenyatta should be commended for caring not only about a you but for continuing to promote your name and the sport. Listen up the world of racing, taking a cold hard look at what passion, effort, and love can accomplish.
Love you Zenyatta!
Max
I am also interested in the Z pin. I have friends who also want it. The pin is a great design and a tribute to Zenyatta. Looking forward to details.
@Donna and other Frankel fans. Apparently Frankel came out of the race in very good shape. He was out this am to nibble on the grass and pose for his fans. Most of the other trainers heaped praise on him and said that they do not intend to enter their horses in any more races with him. Go Frankel!
