Happy Saturday!
On May 10th, the PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS WOMEN of CALIFORNIA will be holding their yearly conference at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. This organization was founded in 1989 by U.S. Congresswoman Jackie Speier. It is dedicated to advancing the professional and personal development of women of all ages and and on all levels. The PBWC provides tools, resources, and a strong business community to encourage women to succeed and contribute at the highest levels in all aspects of various fields, businesses and industries.
I am honored to say that I have just learned one of my fans has spoken to them about ALL of my accomplishments as a Female Athlete who achieved this success while residing in California. As a result, the PBWC wants to include me in their program. How proud and flattered I am at this moment! I’m pretty sure a HORSE has not been part of their program before this!
The conference has 3 different presentations outlined for the day. They are CONNECT, EXPLORE and INSPIRE! My work and achievements have been selected to KICK-OFF the INSPIRE portion of the program. I will be followed in this part of the presentation by Carolyn Johnson from ABC 7 News, International Author, Isabel Allanda, and then America Ferrara, who is an Emmy Award Winning Actress for her role in the series, Ugly Betty.
If you are interested in learning more about PBWC or the conference, here is the link:

Dearest Zenny you are an INSPIRATION. I asked the other day what could possibly be next for The Queen & today’s post was the answer. You are UN-BE-LIEV-A-BLE!!! I’m glad you’re enjoying the sunshine in Kentucky. Can’t wait till 60 Minutes tomorrow. Maybe you could run for president we need someone with your credentials & accomplishments!!!! Thanks again Zenny & Dottie.

You are so special and so deserving. I’ll be watching 60 Minutes tomorrow too!

Dear Amanda,
Wow, Ele’s voice and message is amazing for a 13 yr. old. She is going to be recognized I am sure. Beautiful CD… Thank you!
Marilyn
Congratulations on your latest honor, Zenyatta. You continue to inspire so many of us and thoroughly desrve this recognition.
I’m so upset because I can’t watch or record Sixty Minutes tomorrow night. Does anyone know any other way that I can catch your segment?
I certainly hope there’s a way. Thank you.
Paula Higgins
Max, Judy and Russ I totally agree with you. Zenny’s 2010 Breeders Cup race showed the world how truly great she is. We never had any doubt, but others did, and she showed them what she was made of. It is her greatest race. I watch it over and over. It made believers out of everyone and made me feel bad for Blame LOL. She was brilliant. Never did a horse’s reputation gain so much by losing by a nose.
Jackie
Good Evening Queen “Z”. What an inspiration you and your connections are. You have such a postive effect on so many. Again, well deserved!
Glad to hear the weather is nice in Kentucky. Hope it stays that way for Derby 137.
Frankel ran an incredible race! Hope to see him here in the States.
Hugs and kisses

Hi, Zenny, how fabulous that you are being honored by the association for California business women. It is only to be expected, of course, because you have done so much for the thoroughbred industry, which just shows your terrific talent for business on a very large scale. In addition, as a reknowned female athelete, who performed in California, it is very natural for that group to honor you in this way. My, how the honors keep mounting up!!! And, all are so richly deserved!!!
Just can’t wait for 60 Minutes. Being on that show the first time was special, but being on for a second time, well I doubt there are many who are invited back. Of course, I will be watching, but I am taping it on two TV’s on the extremely unlikely event something happens to one of them.
Love and kisses from Texas.

Dear Paula Higgins:
I love the last line of your post. So true. Hugs, Judy and Russ

Zenyatta: I can completely understand why the PBWC has included you in their conference as an ‘inspiration’. I have been following your career since you first entered the racing area. Every one of your races were very exciting as you came from behind to win in your incomparable way. But, to me, your most ‘inspirational’ race was last year’s Breeder’s Cup. You, my dear, showed so much heart in this race, that every time that I watch the reply, it brings tears to my eyes. You had such a bad start, and everything was going against you (the dirt flying into your eyes, the lights, etc.) But you and your beloved co-pilot, Mike, managed to overcome all of the bad things that were happening to you, and put yourselves into that patented Zenyatta mindset and run the race of your life. It didn’t matter that you were short of the finish line by a few whiskers; you showed us all that we can just strive to meet our challenges and do the best that we can. We may not come up the winner, but, sometimes winning isn’t plaything. It is simply how we run the race. Congratulations, and much love to you, my sweet mare.

Zenny, you have been an inspiration to me for a long time now, so using YOU as a spokesman for the INSPIRE portion is simply AWESOME!!!! Congratulations to YOU and to your loyal fan who was able to bring to light all your accomplishments and to PBWC for including YOU!!! YOU ARE AMAZING, ZENYATTA!!

Zenyatta, how about a new postal stamp of our favorite horse. There could be no other stamp as beautiful as you. We love you, Zenyatta
Denise
Z you inspire us all to be the best. My husband and I drove to Kentucky in November – just to see YOU and your last race – the crowd was so excited to see you. I saw you fly that day – I could not believe what I was seeing. You were truly amazing that day – you didn’t let the bad start & bad timing get in your way – you are a true champion & ambassador of the sport. Congratulations on your well deserved recognition & awards ! I can’t wait to see you again on 60 minutes ! PS. I love the stamp idea…

Thanks Judy!

Amazing zenyatta, I can’t wait to see you on 60 minutes tomorrow night. I’ve got several friends to call who’ll want to watch as well. Will they announce on 60 minutes that you are being honored by the Professional Business Women of California? I hope they do as it is so cool! What an honor, There are a lot of Professional Business Women in California, myself included, but you are the most inspirational by far. And to honor you first before Isabel Allende(whose books are quite inspirational) is really something. I read a lot, and you have inspired me more than any book. In fact, you have inspired me to teach a new seminar, called “The Beauty of the Older Woman”. At 75 I thought I was thru doing seminars, but am very excited about doing this one with a co-leader who was inspired to work with me because of all the passion and excitement I feel for you. And so, Zenyatta sweets, you are a horse that just keeps giving and giving and giving.(And that’s why you just keep getting and getting and getting). Love U Lots.
so you see
JD
When I walk to work in the morning, I actually go by the Moscone Center where this event is being held. Nearby is a historic carousel which I have recently enjoyed taking my elderly mother too, it’s so much fun! She gets on the horses just like the kids. There is one horse in particular that has it’s tongue sticking out as it struts around the carousel with a fire in it’s eye, and it always reminds me of Zenyatta in the post parade! So glad to hear about this well deserved and inspiring honor!

Like someone posted previously…Zenytta for PRESIDENT! She has all the RIGHT qualities …especially compassion, respect and the desire to do good for everyone. I also like the idea of a postage stamp, just as we see in the picture above. She is stunning, positively stunning.
RoxanneL
Dearest Zenyatta, you never fail to amaze and inspire. I love poetry and when I read Lord Byron’s “She Walks in Beauty” it reminded me of you. A true testament to perfection.
Elizabeth S.
Wow, that picture looks like a stamp! :) If there was a stamp of you, I would buy them. :)
Celeste
Thank you for letting us know about this latest achievement! You are indeed an inspiration to very many people in likely more ways than any of us can imagine. It is wonderful that this has been recognized by the PWBC, so congratulations are in order for that. You continue to inspire me as one among very many and for that I am grateful as well. Thank you, beautiful Queen Zenyatta!!
Joyce
Love that pcture of you on the postage stamp above, Zenyatta, and HOPE that could become a reality. What a wonderful reminder it would be to see your beautiful face on our stamps! Of course, we here don’t need to be reminded because you are with us so much, but it could inspire others to learn about you and share in your wonderful achievements. Wonder how one gets to be chosen for a stamp??? Is it time for beauty to count???
