Happy Saturday!
On May 10th, the PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS WOMEN of CALIFORNIA will be holding their yearly conference at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. This organization was founded in 1989 by U.S. Congresswoman Jackie Speier. It is dedicated to advancing the professional and personal development of women of all ages and and on all levels. The PBWC provides tools, resources, and a strong business community to encourage women to succeed and contribute at the highest levels in all aspects of various fields, businesses and industries.
I am honored to say that I have just learned one of my fans has spoken to them about ALL of my accomplishments as a Female Athlete who achieved this success while residing in California. As a result, the PBWC wants to include me in their program. How proud and flattered I am at this moment! I’m pretty sure a HORSE has not been part of their program before this!
The conference has 3 different presentations outlined for the day. They are CONNECT, EXPLORE and INSPIRE! My work and achievements have been selected to KICK-OFF the INSPIRE portion of the program. I will be followed in this part of the presentation by Carolyn Johnson from ABC 7 News, International Author, Isabel Allanda, and then America Ferrara, who is an Emmy Award Winning Actress for her role in the series, Ugly Betty.
If you are interested in learning more about PBWC or the conference, here is the link:
I can’t begin to tell you how truly elated I am at receiving this news! INSPIRE!! Wow!
It is gorgeous in Kentucky today. My pals and I are really enjoying this great weather. Then tomorrow…60 Minutes is airing an update on ME! I am so fortunate!
Have a very special weekend!
With Love,
Hugs to All~

Margaret I also sent money to Old Friends this week. Anyone who can send money please do so they are not foreclosed. It is the most wonderful home for retired horses/thoroughbreds.

To all of Zen’s fans…it seems that we have gotten “off track’ again. Last week, it was frustration over the contest, before that it was negativity that Dottie and the Mosses were not posting frequently enough…etc., etc.
I do not feel that Zenyatta’s people created this site for any other reason but it to be a forum of discussion for Zen’s fans about Zenyatta, the horse racing industry and some of Zenyatta’s causes that the Mosses support through their own personal commitment and through Zenyatta herself. I am not here to comment on what other people should post or not post…I do think however, that Dottie and the Mosses absolutely must be a little disappointed when they read posts of people attacking one another…Zenyatta would definitely not find this an admirable quality of her fans and she probably would be saying to herself…what has happened to all of those loving and adoring fans of mine? Have they gone absolutely crazy!??
I believe that everyone associated with this site wants it to be a place of honor for only one thing and that is Zenyatta…this is to be about her, not about us and all of our issues. I do not mean to come off insensititive to some of the health concerns and other issues of her fans…I just think that this site was not designed for that and we should stay focused on what Dottie and the Mosses created this special place for…for Zenyatta!

I live in the L.A. area and last night when the Zenyatta segment of 60 Minutes was interrupted, I said outloud, “This better be good!”. The news of Osama Bin Laden’s death was of such far reaching, global, historic significance, that I was glad that I happened to be watching TV at that moment (I usually don’t turn it on until later). So thanks to Zenyatta, I was able to watch President Obama’s historic speech live, and thanks to all of you who posted the link to CBS, I was able to finish watching the wonderful 60 Minutes segment.
A historic May Day, indeed!

Ensign: I’ll summarize those that proclaim what you stated just on this conversation. Here you go:
-And WHO are you? Or should I ask rather WHO do you think you are?
-Joyce, you are really on an ego trip! You are unbelievable! Not cut from Team Zenyatta’s cloth that’s for sure.
-For you and others with issues on other people’s posts, have some insight and recognize that many are putting up with YOUR posts as well and not saying anything!
-If you cannot tolerate diversity, go to another website.
-Joyce, quit your complaining or keep it to yourself. This site isn’t for complainers. If you have nothing to share, than don’t share anything. The rest of us are better off without your negativity!
-@Joyce
OH BROTHER!!! Find something to do or go teach a kindergarten class. They will follow your instructions good Teacher!
-@Joyce
Sounds like you need your own 60 Minute Interview since you are so important and know how things should be done here. Thank you for helping us to solve a problem that does not exist except for yourself.
-They must have very small lives to worry about monitoring a website that is already monitored. It is embarrasing to read.
-You do not own this website.
-Best to work on yourself.
-Joyce, quit your complaining or keep it to yourself. This site isn’t for complainers.
****AND LASTLY, THE ONE THE IMPLIES, THE EDUCATED AND WELL, THE ‘CLICKS’
-It is obvious which posters have the college mentality and who is the ‘click
.
I KNOW THAT I MISSED SOME, BUT YOU GET THE JIST….
susie
@Deborah Richmond- AND thank you for that wonderful, positive post. :)

Congrats Zenny you truly do INSPIRE. Sounds like a name for your foal…Zen’s Inspiration, My mare’s sire was a stallion called “I Inspire”, my mare’s registered name is “Skip’s Inspiration”. They are both among the most talented and kind Western Pleasure horses I’ve had the pleasure of riding.

BOY OH BOY DO WE NEED A ZEN INTERJECTION RIGHT NOW WHAT DO YOU THINK DEAR GIRL ?
Kathy Kimber
Joyce GOOD POINT. Mike you are being very hateful to someone you don’t even know.
Kathy Kimber
We need a Zenyatta injection for sure. I’d like to know is Zazu going to go to the Oaks? Is Mr. Commons going to the Derby I can’t find anything but I’m not good on the computer.
Donna
If everyone read Eckart Tolle’s book A New Earth we would ALL be more evolved human beings and there would be no bickering, THIS TOO SHALL PASS.
@ENSIGN I love Arienza I think they are asking a lot from her right now.
Loved seeing Z on 60 minutes, I am waiting to see her take her mud bath
livey
@Patricia Emery—Good post. It also reminded me why I’ve recently taken a break from this site. That someone who simply complains why the Mosses/Dottie are not posting more pictures, is suddenly attacked why out of proportion to the grip. Or someone who shouts “it’s not fair” regarding the contest. Why does it have to be twisted into something bigger than what it is? Why can’t someone complain on here without being accused of attacking Dotte, John, Z, America, the gods, etc?
.
Dottie, the Mosses, John, Mike AND even Z have thicker skin than all of us put together. Let’s not pretend it’s about them. People in this business do not come from the same cloth as us. So folks, lets allow all voices on here. Maybe just maybe we could learn from those that we disagree with…if we listen…

Z. YOU ARE TRULY WITHOUT EQUAL. I ALWAYS ENJOY SEEING YOU ON TV. WISH 60 MINTUES WOULD HAVE DONE A LONGER SEGMENT ON YOU. I HOPE POSTAL SERVICE WILL PUT OUT STAMPS OF LOVELY HORSES OF ALL BREEDS. LOVE YOU MUCH ..SHERRY D. WV
livey
@quarterhossgal–love, love Zen’s Inspiration!!!!!!
Shari
Thanks livey, Yes I understand. However, some that would like the conversations to be so strictly inforced that they are only about their particular specialized horse interest, need to re-read the Post today by Zenyatta’s team. It was about and somewhat directed to “Professional Business Women of America.” If that subject does not resonate to some here, than maybe they are not professional women and should stick their noses out unless they would just like to use the website today to share, and it appears that they are doing just that! Exactly what they accuse others of. That was my point. They had nothing to share in common with regards to the Post today; but it was put on because there are so many Professional Business Women who read and post here daily. How dare they want to silence them! They check in and out throughout their busy day for a little refreshment. And yes Joyce – sometimes in double and even triple digits.
Max
@ENSIGN. I am sorry to hear that R Heat is out of the Oaks.
@Everyone who posts or reads this site. Please put all your positive energy in the direction of Zazu. It would be so great for Zenyatta and the Mosses to see Zazu win. She is a beautiful horse and her trainer says that she has worked hard to get where she is. Go Zazu!
georgia
Congratulations on another honor and kuddos to the fan that went to the PBWC to bring your inspiration in front of them. I was so dissapointed last night as we had the whole family in front of the TV for your 60 minutes piece but it was interupted with the important news of the day. Maybe they will play it again another week. Love and hugs
Mike
@Kathy K.
Not hateful at all unless you read the opinion I state politely with a hateful tone. I just did not know that ENSIGN was a “Professional Business Woman!” Aren’t we supposed to stay on topic? It also has become common knowledge that whenever he posts there is a very large problem which he passively aggressively tries to innocently shirk from. Count his posts today, more than double-digit Joyce, because as one other honest poster admitted he stirred the pot when it was not even boiling and then stood back to watch it boil over.
Ann G.
You have that correct Mike. It has been a pattern so that he is begged back. It is tiring, ad nauseum.
Gloria Jeanne
Here’s a Zen interjection – Zenyatta is only 65 Facebook fans away from 80,000!!! Way to go Zenyatta!!
I agree with Marie that this site is embarrasing to read some times- it’s a real shame.
Ann G.
@Ensign,
Yes your words are correct “you have enjoyed it,” if not helped create it. This is an example of an ENSIGN day! Hope you all are happy.
Shari
@Donna,
You better not discuss books Donna, especially ones that are helpful. Remember this is not a place for personal views, or sharing of anything other than horse stats. :)
livey
Shari-Thank you for responding back. And a VERY valid argument. I don’t have issues with what is discussed on here, though IMHO it gets a little bit toooo off course, but that is just my opinion. What I have issues with, is when anyone so much as gripes about wanting to see Z at LE, wish there were more photos or why nothing about Z’s breeding plans, there is a segment on here that goes overboard, scolding, slamming and attempting to shame those with complaints. So, if this site is to be shared by all those equally, regardless of topics, then we should support/respect everyones right to post on here.
.
BTW, to other viewers/posters. See, it can be done! Two people (Shari & I who disagree but are having a conversation) ;)
–attempt at light humor ;)

Peace today to you Zenyatta, and Dottie and all of the Team Z. Thank you so much for continuing to give us information and pictures about Zenyatta so we can stay connected with her. Thank you Dottie and all Team Z for your patience and generosity. Have a wonderful day.
Maria
@Patricia,
You better also have a word with Deborah R. She is posting about Pres. Obama and Osama Bin Laden and they have no Zenyatta relevance. If you are cracking the whip which it appears alot of you are doing today you cannot have it both ways. Grow up people!
Deborah Richman
@susie…thanks!
@Donna…I liked A New Earth too :) And would love to see Z take a mud bath. :)
@Ensign…I, too, hope R Heat Lightening is able to race again soon. Hope they don’t rush Arienza. Thanks for all the interesting info you post :)
@Shari Voltz…always lovely to hear about what your 25 young Z/Mo fans are up to each day :)
@Ann…healing thoughts for your Morris. :)
Deborah Richman
susie…meanat to give you a :) too!

I mean “meant”. I had better stop while I’m ahead…
Shari
Thanks livey,
For the most part, we all ignore what we are not interested in, what we find distracting, what is common knowledge or just what rubs us the wrong way. It is of no necessary value to comment on another poster unless it is a positive comment. I resist the urge and I feel most of us do, because it does hurt feelings, and behind every name there is a real human being who does not deserve a careless offhand remark.
