Good Morning Everyone,
Yesterday the drawing of the 64 names took place in my stall at Barn 55. Steve and Mario each drew 32 names from the big tubs. Before this, we put ALL of the cards into these tubs and mixed them around and separated stacks of them at a time like you would a deck of cards. Then Steve further stirred and mixed them over and over again by transferring them from one big bucket to another and shaking them around. He poured 1/2 the cards into one tub and the rest remained in the 2nd container. This took quite a bit of time, as we wanted to be sure all of the cards were separated properly.
After this, Steve and Mario went into my stall to get ready to draw the cards. They turned their heads (NO PEEKING) and each drew out 32 postcards. John took the photos!

PS…So sorry I could not post the names yesterday afternoon as we originally stated. They are just completing the painting of John’s office at the house…and all of the computers were covered up late yesterday and Dottie could not use them. Painting will be done soon! (YEAH…then John can hang up some great photos of ME again!) Thank you for your patience and for being so understanding!

WOO HOO! I’m so excited. And I see I’m not the only Jersey girl that loves you, Queen Z! Good luck to everyone!
Kathy Schneider
Zen,
Could you check on someting for me? My kids are HUGE fans of yours and nobody seems to carry youth sized shirts. I just got an email from Breeder’s Cup that has wonderful shirts but again no kid sizes. A lot of your fans are small!! Can you you talk to someone about it?
PS I do realize that you have kids shirts that say Love but that’s a tough sell for an 8 year old boy.
Vicki B.
I recognized several of the names, besides several mentioned already — J. Berube, and maybe William? (who we have only recently started hearing from). Congrats to all of you, and to the rest of us, who endure our mis-selection with good grace! As Zenyatta would.

Hi, Z, Hugs to you and congratulations to the first tier of winners. By the way, I had sent Steve Haskin a note that you wished him a Happy Birthday, and he sent a note back that he was sorry he didn’t get you a card!
Thanks again for keeping us posted about your goings on. Did you and Bernie get together yet? Hope that turns out good for you. Second time the charm!
Hugs. Your friend, Ann Maree

Yay, I made the cut! If nothing else, at least I know that my card made it and the great team of people who surround you will know how happy I am that you are in our world, Zenyatta.
