Good Morning Everyone,
Yesterday the drawing of the 64 names took place in my stall at Barn 55. Steve and Mario each drew 32 names from the big tubs. Before this, we put ALL of the cards into these tubs and mixed them around and separated stacks of them at a time like you would a deck of cards. Then Steve further stirred and mixed them over and over again by transferring them from one big bucket to another and shaking them around. He poured 1/2 the cards into one tub and the rest remained in the 2nd container. This took quite a bit of time, as we wanted to be sure all of the cards were separated properly.
After this, Steve and Mario went into my stall to get ready to draw the cards. They turned their heads (NO PEEKING) and each drew out 32 postcards. John took the photos!

PS…So sorry I could not post the names yesterday afternoon as we originally stated. They are just completing the painting of John’s office at the house…and all of the computers were covered up late yesterday and Dottie could not use them. Painting will be done soon! (YEAH…then John can hang up some great photos of ME again!) Thank you for your patience and for being so understanding!

At MLV – Very sorry to hear of your recent loss. Animals are family for so many of us. If you have never heard of the book entitled “A Dog’s Purpose” by W. Bruce Cameron, I highy recommend it. A beautiful, sensitive, healing book. On a lighter note, CONGRATS to “the 64”. And to Dottie & others for putting your time & effort into this contest. You are giving fans all over the world something to cheer about. Love to you Zenny!

I was hoping that the cards would have been picked out by what we had written, but I understand what would take a lot of reading :) Anyway, I am just happy the big dance has begun. Good luck to everyone.

Congrats to the lucky 64! At least I had a good time making my postcard. Pictures I took Breeders Cup 2009 and 2010 around Z Horse of Year DRF PIC. Story was all about the emotions Z has brought out. Z..you are special!

Congratulations to the 64 selected right in Zenyatta’s stall with the beautiful lifesize drawing of her by the kindergarten children on the wall!
Special congratulations to the two names I recognize from the website–Dawn Conrad, and Amanda Gilliland.

Even though I was not one of the 64 lucky ones I still say we all won because we get to post to your site and see what you have been doing. It is a real joy to read what you post about your day.
Love You!

Dear Z and Team Z, I am thrilled to have made the list of 64, and most of all thrilled and happy that Dawn Conrad and Amanda Gilliland (two who write the most thoughtful and beautiful comments to Z’s Diary Posts) are among the final 64. They are so deserving and I will be rooting for them. Good luck to all. It is a joy to be part of this most special opportunity and to honor Zenyatta. Thanks to all the team members; you are truly fantastic people. Lots of hugs to all, Karen
