Hello Everyone,
In life, we all have things that don’t always go as hoped or planned. I am not any different than anyone else. At Lane’s End, they did a recheck on me today and discovered that I am no longer in foal. Just as with humans, horses also have this type of thing happen.
I am feeling terrific! I am totally looking forward to becoming a MOM in the future. I want everything to be perfect when that time comes!
With Love,
Hugs to ALL~
Z

Sending love and hugs to you and your wonderful people, dear Z. Thank you for having Dottie give us the sad news, as difficult as it must have been for her. Thoughts and prayers coming your way, sweet girl.

Oh, Zenny. I’m heartbroken to hear the news. I know you’ll get the best of care though. Could someone outline what happens next? It would sure erase the questions I have. I don’t know anything about losing foals.
Shannon From Cool
Don’t worry honey! We still LOVE YOU! Will you be bred again this season?
Pam Zacek
Oh Zen so sorry, but, us humans have the same thing, happen, don’t worry, I always, tell humans go on a vacation, of sorts, don’t think of it, and presto, your be ready for a new one soon, just go have fun with your girl buddies, and forget all about that part for now, and soon, your be in foal, or what ever, your be ready to be a Mommy, look, how long, your got to get to the queen of racing, so, I would say, have some fun, then worry about the rest. Love you any old way, Zen, your the Queen of the Padlocks

Zenny, you taught me in life to be brave and forge ahead, during my lowest point in life, I had you to look to for the will to move one foot in front of the other, you gave me strength, I am so very sorry for this loss for you and for your owners and all who love you, I can only say that I know you have it in you to keep on trying and pushing forward and coming from behind to get over that finish line and make it through, Bernie will be happy to date you again …I love you forever….
Beth Alexander

I’m so sorry, Zenyatta. My heart aches for your loss, but I know things happen for a reason and maybe this was supposed to happen right now. Later on you will have the healthiest of foals and we all look forward to that day. Love you, beautiful girl.

So very sorry for your loss. Although this is very common especially with maiden mares it is still very difficult to deal with emotionally. Luckily it is still early enough to have another date with Bernie, is that the plan?
Mary Alice Kier
Dear Zenyatta — your are our very special gift and life unfolds often in ways we don’t expect. However, I’m a firm believer this unfoldment brings other blessings at the right time. Your time to have that special foal and future foals will come when it’s meant to be. Thank you Team Zenyatta and my thoughts are with you today as you move forward.

A very sad day…I am so sorry for you and those who love you.
Sally
This was either the outcome of the “about 28 days” scan or else she slipped between that time and this announcement and it was discovered when she came back into season. When I was working on a breeding farm, mares that slipped had a culture taken to check for infection, treated if necessary, and were bred back on their next season after that. It’s not that uncommon for embryos to fail to implant. Better luck next time!

I am so sorry. A wise teacher once told me when I encountered some difficulties, “Things have a way of working out.” And they did. And you will too.

Sorry for all concerned but whatever has happened is for the best as long as you are all right!!I have always loved horses but you,Zenny, have captured my heart just like Secretariat did. You will be a wonderful momma when the time is right for you! Maybe this is God’s way of saying you need to be a “horsey horse” for awhile longer.Love to you and your entire family!!
