Hello All,
I am having the most fun today….doing a bit of exercise and relaxing in the sunshine. It is a bit brisk and cool…but the sun is out and it is wonderful.
Lots of things are happening this week at the barn and in my life. It is exciting. We are having the party for all of my friends at the barn…so I can THANK THEM for taking such great care of me for all of these years.
Then on Sunday, I’m parading at Hollywood Park. I get to go to the paddock and visit with all the fans. This should be great fun! Then I’ll walk out through the tunnel to the front part of the race track. I’ll get to see everyone! I can’t wait.
On the 6th, I leave for Kentucky. I am really getting excited about this trip as well. Steve and Mario will go on the plane with me. Ann, Jerry, John and Dottie will meet me in Lexington. We are hoping Mike comes along as well. I will get to visit with everyone upon my arrival and say HELLO.
I am one lucky girl. As the other details come out, I will share them with you.
Have a great Monday.
With love,
Z
Sue
OH ZENTATTA…PLEASE don’t go!!

Hi Zenyatta… I love your name and that is why I write it out… so very glad you are having a busy week… it sounds like fun… I am ready for the 5th… have fun at the barn party, it sounds swell.. I know I will miss the heck out of you when I go to Santa Anita and won’t see you racing there… not the same.. but I have your video on my cell phone of Abba and Dancing Queen.. everytime I see it, I just remember the thrill of seeing you race, you are truly beautiful inside and out… I don’t want you to go far away but then we can visit you and that is ok… I want you to have fun running in the large paddocks they have at Lane’s End and stand under a tree and nibble at some sweet grass and enjoy life, you sure earned it… I know you changed my life, my attitude for sure and I am so grateful for all your humans for sharing you with us.. they have done so much good .. if I want to get in a good mood and have a fabulous memory I have your videos and that lifts up my spirit, because you were truly sent by God to help all of us see what greatness is.. and also what humility is.. I love you and always will forever.. Thank you, you have blessed and made my life so much richer..
Jane
Hello Beautiful!
I’m sad to see you go, but I know you have a BFF mare friend at Lane’s End, and hopefully you’ll be in the stall next to hers so you can catch her up on all your exciting news. I’m glad your family is making the trip with you, and I hope Mike is able to go, too. I wish I knew your secret, Z – I’d like to have just one guy in this life love me like Mike loves you! But you do have your great looks, charm, and fabulous dance moves.
I hope you love having babies, and I really hope they let them stay with you till they’re ready to be weaned. I know you’d be the best and most loving mommy ever.
Stay in touch, won’t you? We all love you and yours so much!
Robyn Mullhausen
Oh Zenyatta, I’m so happy for you that all your favorite peeps will be going to Lexington with you. I’ll bet Lane’s End has never ever seen such an arrival in their history! They’ll never see any horse and it’s people like you again because you are so very unique and special and loved soooo much by so many. I am still praying that one day I’ll be lucky to meet you, too. Thanks for writing.
Helen
You are truly a gift to all of us Zenyatta. I know you’ll enjoy your week of festivities and I look forward to meeting you in Kentucky.

I sure hope ESPN, TVG and your folks are video-taping you all day Sunday. I will be traveling, and have to rely on the internet to see how your “day” went – shoot! Hope you will auto-hoof some pics for the fans! I’d buy one. Love you Zenny – you are a one in a million gal with personality and flair to match. Lotsa love!

Yesterday I enjoyed the grand spectacle of Cavalia. Watching those horses go through their acts I was seeing you, wonderful Zenyatta. I’m planning to see you once more at your appreciation day.

I hope that once you are settled at Lane’s End that we will be able to visit you!! It would be a shame not to be able to see the “Beauty” that graced the racetracks in America.

I’m going to miss you Zenyatta! I wish you can stay here in California. Luv ya “Z”

Dear Zenyatta: I am going to miss you. I was hoping I would be able to fly out from NJ to be at your farewell parade on Dec. 5th. It just isn’t possible. I hope it is televised. What a gift you have been to all of us. I am very thankful for this website so we can get updates on how you are doing. The very best to you, Zenyatta. We will always remember you and we’ll keep you in our hearts forever. You are truly loved and will be missed. I am so sorry I won’t be at Hollywood Park to say good-bye to you. But someday, I’ll visit you in KY.

Saying “goodbye” is going to be very hard for your family Zenny. I know you will be fine, and David will be down the road, but they will miss you more than words can express. My thoughts will be with them when they board the plane back to California. It will be a tough day I am for sure. I would say to them that she will have a wonderful life with people who will grow to love her very much. They will lose their hearts to her just like everyone else.

Have a great time at your party dear Zenyatta. Even though we all are going to miss you like crazy, it is exciting to have a new chapter in your life opening up that we can all hear about. So glad Mario and all your other favorite people are going with you. Tell Mike to come too. He needs to. See you Sunday!
Jane
P. S. I totally agree with Elizabeth Barrow about you staying right here SoCal. In fact Bradbury would be just fine. (wink, wink) Have expressed her sentiments many times in practically the same words!!!!

I just read that Z is going to visit Keeneland on 12/6 as her final public appearance before going to Lane’s End. Does that mean that fans will not be able to visit her at Lane’s End in the future? I hope that Lane’s End understands how much America loves her and how much we all want to keep seeing her. Please let us know what might be possible in your posts! All the best for her travels with her team!
Victoria

Dearest Z,
I have had the good fortune of visiting you 3 times in the last 2 weeks at Hollywood Park. I will visit you one more time this Wednesday with my mom, who can not wait to meet you in person. Us Californians are feeling sad that you will be leaving, but we know we have to share you with everyone else. You are a source of Universal Love and that can never be confined. It must be allowed to expand to the hearts of all. Your love has touched soooooo many of us and we are so blessed. Thank you for your amazing spirit and kindness. Your posts are heart-warming. Thank you! See you Wednesday.
Oh,and thank your amazing family for taking such good care of you and for inviting the world into the gift God gave us in you. We all appreciate it sooo much and love you all!
God bless,
Lisa
P.S. I posted a couple of videos on youtube of our visits. “Visting Zenyatta 11.15.10” and “Feeding Zenyatta”. Thank you!

What can I say that everyone hasn’t already said. Mario… I’ve been thinking of him and how much this man is going to miss you. His heart will hurt for quite sometime when he has to say good bye and I know yours will too. I’m also hoping Mike goes along To says his good bye to you also. He loves you so and feels so bad for how things happened in the Breeders Cup. You need to make sure things are ok there. You are sure going to make a great Mom. Can’t wait to see the babies. Don’t forget to let us know how your doing…. Kisses on your nose from me….

hi lady z, we are saddened yet excited to see you on sunday. we are hoping that tvg won’t let us down wit some fabulous coverage of the event. we love the daily blog and we hope there is more to come. we also hope that lanes end has some sort of zenyatta connection to her adoring public. she is a treasure that we don;t want to let go. she has done so much for so many, and she needs that affection from her fans as well to sustain that adoring personality. she is one of a kind. she will have a great retirement. glad that her people will travel with her to get settled. it is very overwhelming to think how lost her california family will be without her. she is the greatest!!! we love you z, make beautiful babies and teach them how to dance!!! love marsha 7 joe

I have this void in my heart knowing that you will be miles away in your new home after Dec 5. I will channel all my love and prayers to you. If you feel homesick, you can always come back to CA.
Kim
I’ve just found out that Lane’s End is in Versailles, KY, which is not far from where I grew up, Versailles, IN. Great, I hope to see you whenever I’m around the area.
Sarah Powell
Wish your team would post videos of your exercise – miss seeing you run – nothing like it. Hope the trip is good glad Mario is going with you – horses get so attached to their humans and this will make the trip easier – my horses get upset if I miss a night putting them in the barn!
