Well, it has rained off and on here in Inglewood for the last 2 days. I did get to paint my Moneighs yesterday late in the morning. I had to stay in the barn as it was too wet and cold outside. Julio Sarno and her crew helped me. Hope you enjoy the photos. The paintings will be auctioned off and the proceeds will go to help retrain horses from off the track. RERUN is the organization.
I am so happy to be able to help! And, if I say so myself, I did a terrific job! I would imagine they would call my style…CONTEMPORARY / MODERN ART!
Hope you enjoy the photos. John sent them in for you to see.
Also, a woman from Washington made me a great cookie container….and some homemade cookies. They are delicious! (Direct quote from JOHN! ) Thanks so much for the yummy treats! The cookie jar is a keepsake!
If it stops raining, I get to go out and graze. Otherwise, I’m cozy and warm in my stall in Barn 55. I go out walking several times each day…but that is in my covered barn area.
Hugs to you all~
Love,
Z

Dearest Zenyatta, I live near Seattle, so we get a lot of rain here, also. Will Lane’s End let you keep writing your diary? I will miss you so much. Prayers an kisses for you.

Zenyatta and her connections continue to help others. A wonderful thing to do. Thanks for the updates. I am so glad people are still coming to see her. When she gets to Kentucky, if they let people visit, I plan on coming at some point.

Someone sent you cookies, how nice is that!! :-)

I know your human parents would not approve, but I think the perfect husband for you would be ‘Moorlands Totilas’, winner of 2010 WEG Freestyle (dressage). I realize he is not of your ‘faith’ but what a beautiful baby you would have together. Could not race but think ‘Olympics’! My 29-yr-old Fox Trotter says hi; he’s still going strong, says he hopes you will too.

Dottie, I just love your diary posts about zenyatta(of course she helps you with them and the very tertaining, charming things you say) and wonder if you’ve thought of eventually making a book out of them and Z’s artwork, and her opinions on many things such as horseracing, men, motherhood, and any other topics you and Zenyatta decide on. I think it would make a lovely book and some of the proceeds could go to help racehorse Retirement Homes that I think are so needed. Anyway, thanks for your lovely diary posts. I look forward to them every day.

Thank you for keeping up with us. Please continue this when you go to KY – please. Looking forward to the paintings too and appreciate your contributions to Rerun. Ready Lady and Little Bit send their regards – Love to you Z.

Checked out http://www.ReRun.org which is where you can find info about the Moneighs. They have a card pack with yours and several other horse art work. AP Indy has done one. The price is very reasonable.

Thank you Zenyatta for keeping us up to date on your busy life! I will be coming to visit you in KY in December which is my Christmas gift to myself. Have you written to Santa yet? Please tell Dottie and John how grateful I am for their love and care in keeping you healthy and happy. We could all learn from your story. And you know dear one that you achieved your Quest for Perfection the day you were born. Love you forever, JM
Mary
Zenyatta I love your Moneigh notecards! Do you think you could also have your staff help with some photos of you on long sleeve tee shirts for this cold winter? Some of us can’t afford to win a Moneigh on the ebay auction, but we can show our love by wearing more tee shirts and donating that cost to a horse home of your choice. yeigh or Neigh?

Good Morning, As always, good to hear from you. We have lots of snow where I live so you are lucky to be there. (*_*) I am certain you paintings are just Leonardo da Vinci. Further, he probably couldn’t dance like you nor run like the wind. (*_*)You are the BEST! I love you Zenyatta and pray that you will never be out of touch with your fans. I am not now or ever going to forget you. Have a good day! x0x0x0x0

Well Queen Z what is left to be said we’ve said it all. I again want to thank the wonderful Sheriffs for the excellent care that they have given you from day one. I hate to think what would have happened if you had wound up with a less caring and knowledgeable trainer and owners. I hope Lane’s End is prepared for your stardom and all your fans, I think they probably think you’re just a fabulous horse…. but just a horse. Wait till they find out the truth. See you in Kentucky in Spring lovely lady!!!
GAIL FULLER
Queen Z – I am estatic that you are moving to Kentucky which is oh so close to me here in Tennessee! I hope to one day get to meet you. I wish you all love and happiness and hope that you have beautiful and happy babies like you!

Hi Zennie! I’d love to see your “artwork” for the Rerun organization. That’s so kind of you to help other thoroughbreds who need a helping hand – WONDERFUL! I hope your big celebration day on December 5th will be on TVG and also that John will be videotaping, too. You’ve done so much for the sport, and so have Mr. and Mrs. Moss, John, Dottie and Mario. It’s just been a hoot to enjoy your career, your highlights, and especially all things Zenyatta! I still hope that your “parents” and you will put out a book of some sort about your life, achievements, all memorable media moments and a portion of the profits could go to the Rerun organization. Take care – at least it’s not snowing (as it is here in Seattle today). Lotsa love!
Mary
Zenyatta, How do you paint the Moneigh? Do you create using your foot, with your shoe on, and go with what your heart tells you? Your colors will be with you forever. God be with you Zenyatta.
Elena Erdman
Zenyatta, my great friend, tell Mary to go to the website and she can find how you paint and also some of your past paintings… http://www.ReRun.org. Are you outside grazing today? What a glorious day… I am thinking of you.. Love you..
Mary
Zenyatta, I raced to my mailbox today to get my Bloodhorse magazine that I knew would have your special commemorative section in it. Oh Zenyatta, how beautiful you are. So many special pictures, so many memories of the ride you took us on. You are truly Horse of the Year.

Hay Z there is a huge discussion going on over at the Barbaro website about having you run for President in 2012.
Your platform is returning all the wild horses and burros to their rightful lands as per the 1971 law. Our party is called the Carrot Party. Your VP choices so far are Funny Cide and Smarty Jones. It has also been suggested that you might want to pick a drafty for VP.
We’re having a blast getting your campaign together!
Zenyatta for President 2012!!!!!

Why has The Mosses not mentioned considering Zen for dressage due to her natural footwork that can take years to learn? This sport is less dangerous and lasts longer than racing. Other websites discuss this frequently about Lady Z.
