Well, it has rained off and on here in Inglewood for the last 2 days. I did get to paint my Moneighs yesterday late in the morning. I had to stay in the barn as it was too wet and cold outside. Julio Sarno and her crew helped me. Hope you enjoy the photos. The paintings will be auctioned off and the proceeds will go to help retrain horses from off the track. RERUN is the organization.
I am so happy to be able to help! And, if I say so myself, I did a terrific job! I would imagine they would call my style…CONTEMPORARY / MODERN ART!
Hope you enjoy the photos. John sent them in for you to see.
Also, a woman from Washington made me a great cookie container….and some homemade cookies. They are delicious! (Direct quote from JOHN! ) Thanks so much for the yummy treats! The cookie jar is a keepsake!
If it stops raining, I get to go out and graze. Otherwise, I’m cozy and warm in my stall in Barn 55. I go out walking several times each day…but that is in my covered barn area.
Hugs to you all~
Love,
Z

I love you girl I cry every time I think about not seeing you anymore. I hope you keep up the Diary after you go to KY., so we can keep and eye on you and make sure they are treating you right out there. Do you think the farm will let your fans come and see you as much as John and MR & MRS Moss did? it would be a shame if you are kept from your fans. Well take care and have a safe trip to KY. we all love you.
Lanie Johnson

You know I bet you could do charity events in Kentucky too. Most of the fans would love to come see you and would buy tickets supporting your favorite charity. Maybe once or twice a year have an Open House Party for your fans supporting Old Friends or the charity of your choice. We love you Z.

So good to see your humans are keeping you busy painting on a rainy day. :-)
Queen Z would be a stunning competitive dressage horse. Any chance of it happening?
Of the 17 stallions standing at Lanes End I am guessing AP INDY may be the sire of Queen Z’s first foal.. :-)
Robbie Hamilton

Zenyatta,I just love to hear from you.Its the first thing I do after I feed my little dog Brad give him his Insulin and walk him. He is 13 years old now and my best friend, I adopted him when he was one year old. He has a great persolality just like you and I love him dearly. I will check out rerun, its a great cause. Even if I cant afford one maybe I can donate some money anyway, so many horses need help. Thank you Z for highlighting this need, you really are a star, a true Queen Z. A very big hug to you. I tried to get to see you last week to give you a hug personally but HP said that I couldnt do that. If I can send the Guinness to you let me know, you are so wonderful, a great ambasador for racing and for horses in need. Will talk to you tomorrow.

I check everyday to see what Zenyatta has been up to! Thank you Dottie for writing this for ALL of Zen’s fans. I received my Bloodhorse Special Zenyatta issue in the mail yesterday. I am hoping a book will come out in the future and maybe a DVD of
all of her races? Z, enjoy your Guinness Stout and grazing…until your next posting..

Zenyatta, thanks for letting us share your days…I miss you so much, but have a couple wonderful photos of you from your trip to Churchill Downs..,they are of you in the paddock with your deputy sheriff escort, and also when you did a couple dance steps…I feel blessed that I got to see you…what a beautiful and serene horse you are…(when you’re not in a race, that is…!) I get misty every time I think of you and this entire journey with your people..it is all so magical…sigh…
Robyn Mullhausen
Good morning baby girl, looking forward to your artwork. You are always thinking of someone else. What a wonderful cause and treasure to anyone who can buy one. Maybe since I couldn’t make it to CA, I’ll be lucky enough to meet you in KY. You will be closer to me. If you make it to MD, you can stay in my spare bedroom!
jena hobert
Oh Zenyatta it is wonderful that you are helping other horses!! There are so many that need help! Picasso came from a resue voiceforhorses.org. They try to save all kinds of horses. I bet your Moneighs will help a lot. We (the herd) and I love hearing about you. I hope your new home will let us be a part of your new life. Love always. Secsea Dance, Salawgi, Simon, and Picasso

Way to go Zenyatta! Always thinking of others. Would really like a closer look at your new masterpiece.
