Happy Saturday to everyone!
It is absolutely pouring here at Hollywood Park this morning. I’m nice and cozy in my blankets and all cuddled up in my stall at this time. John had me do a bit of exercise yesterday…as he thought it would rain today. At 9 our time, it is supposed to be the heaviest…so I probably will not go out and graze until it stops.
I was also supposed to PAINT some MONEIGHS this morning. Dottie set up the appointment for me. I’ve done this before and the paintings are sold for charity to help horses in need of a new home. These are fun to do and I get to play a bit. The materials used are all safe for me. Not sure if this is taking place due to the rain. We normally do this outside and that can’t happen today.
When I do get to paint, I’ll send you some photos.
All else is nice and quiet. I’m relaxing, cozy and having a wonderful morning in my barn with all of my friends. You stay dry and cozy as well.
Hugs to all~
Love,
Z

Dottie…..thanks for the updates. When Z goes to the breeding shed will someone keep up the posts? I’m hoping the transition from being blanketed in a cozy box stall to living in a cold climate in a large paddock won’t be too much of a change for Z. We live in Nebraska and my horses have started getting a winter coat already. If the weather is good they spend their days outside and in their box stalls over night. I’m sure Mario will take care of Z’s life changes. Can’t wait to see the artwork.

Thank you Dottie for updating us with these posts..they are very appreciated. They always brings a smile. I can’t wait to see her and Team Zenyatta at Hollywood Park on the 5th…and I promise to not bring our snow with me. I’ll take the rain and a little warmer weather. Looking forward to see your paintings. Stay dry!

I have long said that the Thoroughbred is the most beautiful animal (including humans). And to me Zenyatta is the most beautiful Thoroughbred. I hope Jerry and Ann Moss are planning to have a full size bronze cast of her so that all can see the majesty that is Zenyatta for all time. I would like to see the bronze placed at the Kentucky Horse Park near those of Man O War and Secretariat. I know there would be public support for such a project as she has brought such joy and touched so many lives.

I’ve never cared much for horses….until two years ago when I saw a Youtube video of you. I was instantly hooked, and have since followed your story very closely. I made the trip to KY a few weeks ago just to see you, and love you now more than ever. I still don’t understand why I could not stop crying when I first saw you. You are truley an amazing animal. Thank you for introducing me to horseracing, and for showing me first hand this incredible sport . I would certainly buy your artwork, or anything else that you decide to put your hoof print on. I hope to be able to visit you back in KY in the springtime. Keep these diary posts coming, as I love reading them. Prayers for you and your caregivers, how they will miss you. Love to you ZENYATTA!

Wow, what a special talented lady you are. You win races, you paint for charity for the horse rescue and you win lots of respect from your fans. You sound happy. I’m sure you will miss your friends that you have seen everyday, but will make new ones also.
I wish I could come to CA to attend your final goodbye and see you in person but can’t afford to make the trip. That’s why I enjoy your postings on the computer. Please keep us informed of your progress in your new home in KY. You are a very wonderful animal and will be missed.
Maybe you could make a grand tour and visit some of the other race tracks especially in Chicago/midwest area. People would turn out to see you I’m sure. It would be good for racing to see the HOTY dance.
Stay warm and dry, it’s cold and wet in Wisconsin. Love to you Zenyatta!

What I have observed in terms of computer system memory is the fact that there are features such as SDRAM, DDR and so forth, that must match up the requirements of the mother board. If the computer’s motherboard is rather current and there are no os issues, updating the memory space literally usually takes under one hour. It’s among the list of easiest computer upgrade treatments one can visualize. Thanks for discussing your ideas.
