Good Morning Everyone!

I’m back….and so happy to be able to visit with ALL OF YOU again! Yesterday was a very, very exciting day for both TASTY and I. We were moved to the FOALING UNIT of Lane’s End…and when we are not outdoors enjoying ourselves, we now reside in the FOALING BARN!

Above, you see the guys walking us to our ‘new home and paddock area’. We are truly embarking on a brand new adventure in our lives.

It is quite exciting! We will still have our same wonderful grooms and caretakers. Everything in our lives as far as the people around us will remain exactly the same.

I must say, we are being very closely monitored all of the time…just to see if there is even the slightest change in our bodies.

What an exciting time!

Here we are getting to visit our new HOME and get acquainted with it! LUCKY US!

This is so much fun! Look how pretty it is here!

I know MY TEAM is planning some very loving things for ME to do during the next several weeks. It will be a great way for ME to productively use my time while I’m waiting to become a MOM!

    So exciting!!! Take care of yourself Zennie, I know you’re already receiving the best from all your connections and friends. I’m glad you have Tasty with you, too. I’m sure you two girls have a lot to talk about, and will have even more to share in the coming months. Keep the pictures and updates coming, I’m thinking about you every day. Hoping you and your baby are healthy, and that your little one arrives right on schedule.

    Good morning Big Girl (no pun intended!), Dottie, Babies-To-B & Zen-sters:

    Before I get started on my next article for THE VAULT, I just thought that I’d check in to say “Good Morning” and to wish each of you a great day! It’s lovely seeing Zenny & Tasty making their “move” to the Foaling Barn.

    Yesterday, I was watching the videos posted by Lane’s End & Samantha Clark featuring Donna Vowles who seems just WONDERFUL & did a pretty BRILLIANT job of explaining the function of the Foaling Barn, birthing process and even the use of nurse mares.

      Abigail- thanks for the link. Those are great videos! Donna seems like she really loves what she does and has such a kind demeanor. The foal barn looks wonderful and it was neat to see Zenyatta’s stall. Not that I didn’t feel good about it, but it is reassuring to see where Zenny will have her foal and “meet” one of her helpers/person in charge.

      Lovely link to foaling at Lane’s End.
      Any of you Z fans on this site given birth with a midwife in a birthing
      center?
      This experience is just what it sounds like, very peaceful and serene
      with eyes for detail always looking on.

      Zenny guess you will have time to crochet ” 4 hoof booties”; we humans
      do that when we are getting ready to have babies.

      Thank you so much for the information and links to the blog on foaling. The videos were very educational and it was great to see the stall where Zenyatta will foal, plus I loved that photo of our Queen kind of in the middle of all of it. Too cute! Thanks, Abigail!!

      Great video, very informative. You can tell she loves the horses and is great at her job.

    What exciting news! Again, I am thinking of everyone currently experiencing some difficult times in their lives. I know with me having this connection with a site full of wonderful people has brightened my days. I only hope they feel the same.

      Forgot to wish you a Happy Groundhog Day.

      Our Ground Hog saw his shadow so that means another 6 wks of winter, but its been so mild and the skiing and snowshoeing have been so good that we don’t mind.

      Looks like the weather is mild for you as well Zenny. ;)
