Poor Jesus’ Team lost any chance with his jump-up just as the gate opened so he broke last, got up to 6th, then faded back to last. Don’t think anyone was going to beat AC though!

Charlie sticking his tongue out at the relentless flies. They were just awful yesterday when I visited. (Actually he had just finished chewing a peppermint). Love that boy.
It was sweltering here yesterday and the flies were really annoying him. We have more weeks of muggies to go and then the cool temps and cool breezes will chase the flies away.

Hope you are watching the Saratoga races today. Race 4 was won by a grey filly ridden by Tyler Gaffalione and trained by Mike Maker — went off at 13-1.
I was hoping she would do well, particularly since Andy Serling gave her no chance. She has the unfortunate name of Strong Odor (x Strong Mandate – Tuna). Andy said her past performances had a strong odor — she showed them all! Yay! Congrats to this beauty and all connections!
I think whoever gave her this name should be banned from future naming.

Seafoam wins this 1 1/8 mile stakes race with Joel Rosario onboard — Seafoam is trained by Michele Giangiulia(sp?), and this is her first win as a trainer — first win AND a stakes win. She used to work with Tom Morley as an assistant. Congrats to her, Seafoam, JR and all connections! She was SO
