Our Mims will be receiving a new horse very soon. Her name is Plesantry and she is currently in Florida at TRAC. However, she has some medical issues and it is too hot there, thus the move. She also has digestive issues, so she will stop in GA. overnight and proceed to KY! Our Mims has readied her stall and all the gals are awaiting her arrival, even Buckets!
My new little dog aka Feather had to spend some time at the vet to treat a couple of issues she had when she came to the shelter. She’s home now and spent the last couple days mostly on my lap watching the races. She seemed to enjoy them. She also seems to be feeling better and Feather and Tommy and I went for a nice walk today. I certainly hope all those involved in those two days of racing are resting comfortably after working so hard. Here’s hoping everyone has a lovely evening.
I would like to wish Zilkha Happy Birthday! It is her first of many to come! I hope you have a party with some extra special goodies to celebrate! God bless you always.

May everyone both two and four legged have a sparkling day tomorrow. Would you believe it, our weather report for late tomorrow into Wednesday, suggests that two little bumps in the road a bit farther down the road from La Pine might even get a bit of snow. YIKES
Just checked his chart. Triple Tap hasn’t raced sunce he won his Maiden on 3/13/21. He’s had three timed works in April; the last one on 4/26/21. Trained by BB. Love and Hugs, JB

I saw that Malibu Moon died unexpectedly today of an apparent heart attack. He was 24 and was the foundation for Spendthrift Farm. Outstanding sire and excellent broodmare sire, he was the son of A.P. Indy.
RIP Malibu Moon (“Boo Boo”), you will be sorely missed.

Guess Pistol is not going to the sale since he has a boo boo on his leg. I kinda wish the Amermans (spelling?) would keep and race him and then retire him to Mill Ridge or Claiborne for stud duties.
Shirley, I can’t remember who the Pistol’s owners are, but it’s not the Amermans. Price told us once, but it’s left my head. We were all joking about a campaign to get them to name him The Pistol. It must be whoever owns Intensify, but I can’t seem to find that out.

Perhaps someone can help me. I know I saw a post concerning the debut yesterday of a horse named Coinage at Belmont. He came in third. As I recall that’s how Ziconic did in his debut. I to am beginning to wonder about Zenyatta. Is she alright. Also, I thought perhaps there might be a picture or two of Zilkha’s birthday. I haven’t seen any. Finally, what about Zellda? Has anyone heard or seen anything about her? Here’s hoping everyone both two and four-legged have a sparkling day.
I keep checking to see if ZELLDA has had a timed work, but so far nothing. Usually see a few works before an entry. Will keep checking. Love and Hugs, JB
Finally, I found the answer to my own question. Coinage is a 2 yo by Tapit out of the Medaglia d’ Oro mare Bar of Gold who was the surprise winner of the 2017 Breeder’s Cup Filly and Mare Sprint. Here’s hoping this one does a bit better next time.
