Will forever and ever love you.
Hope you have lots and lots of flowers brought to Claiborne Farm for you.
I was told when I was there that hardly a day went by that there were not flowers brought by.
Love You Always, Peggy
Thanks Judy T.B.,
I got so excited when I saw these photos of Mike and Coz, such nostalgia seeing him on CoZ’s back. I’d give anything to know what he thought after breezing him. I wonder if this means he’ll be riding him in the races…..I hope that’s the case, it’s just meant to be. Thanks for posting these. Love and hugs
Oh Judy, thank you so much for that photo of Mike and Coz. Our boy sure has gotten big and muscular. Really really hope Mike is his jockey. Nothing against Victor but Mike knows his mom and should have a special connection to Coz.
Hoping that Mikey and COZ become a team too. When I look at the photos of them, WOW; really takes me back. COZ look so much like our Queen. Love and Hugs, JB
Dear Zenyatta and boys! Thank you for the great photos of Cozmic One Mike. He is truly one handsome fellow. So much great racing this weekend and lots to catch up on. What an effort by our California Chrome!!!! He looked amazing and ran his heart out. Very proud of our American based horses and all the horses in Dubai races. I thought the filly that beat the boys ( from France) was outstanding. Ears perked forward, mowing down the boys. Sound familiar Zen?
I am still absorbing the news regarding CC heading off to England. I wish him nothing but the best. Please remember California is your home! We will miss you.
This morning cool breezes blew up from the river bottom and stirred the new green leaves on the pin oak. The change of season wavers from cool brisk air to warm pockets trapped beneath heavy foliage.
We, too, waver because of changes that tell us something is pending. Something is adjusting the days and hours, and we can’t seem to pin it down.
The deer lifts its head to catch a scent-should it be afraid? As creatures with spirits, we do the same things-testing and sniffing the breeze to detect anything different. Are we ready?
The Cherokee removal was the cruelest work I have ever known.

The comments on the previous page about Chrome going to England were upbeat and positive. However, I came across another article that didn’t seem so positive.
Dear Kathy.BST has adjusted our time over here and I am sooo tired!Plus Monday is here to taunt me again.I will have to turtle-turtle all day!Thank you for the beautiful flowers this morning it brightens my day.The dreadful weather is delaying our ospreys this year one of the Rutland females is struggling through France and Beatrice has moved now from her stopover.I can imagine Monty and Glesni will be late this year!Did you see Hawley enjoying his cookie?Ray is hoping to get some today.Dolly is much better today thank goodness and Miss Kitty is eating her new food now so momma is hoping she will gain weight. They had more snow yesterday never seem to get a spring now. It’s lovely with Mango as you can imagine 80F Nay is in Chicago until tomorrow and Judy can’t cook!!!So Mango offered to share their food with her!She did make herself some toast yesterday.Loved that pic of the ratties yesterday!Good friends share everything!Lovely pic of Boo Buddy and Blue. What do you think of CC coming over to RA?I really hope he will do well and it will be a great experience for him all that gorgeous English turf!Remember to turtle-turtle!Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.Sheena.
Time adjustments are the WORST! I hope you feel better soon. The ratties have the right idea turtle-turtling all day. You’re welcome for the flowers. So sorry for the struggles the ospreys are going through just to get to the Dyfi. Yes, I read that Mama baked treats for Ray, Hawley and Jack O. Such lucky boys!!! Glad to hear Dolly is better, also Miss Kitty. Poor Mango. It’s always rough when the cook is gone! There’s always frozen dinners and fast food, I guess. That pic of the ratties sharing everything was very cute. The pic of Boo, Buddy and Blue was beautiful. All three are just so photogenic! I think it’s wonderful that CC is coming over to RA just so long as he’s up to it. It would be a shame if he really isn’t, if he needs a rest during that time. Fingers crossed he will be okay. I will turtle-turtle as much as possible. Have a good day and take care of yourself. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy.
Coz you look quiet, it is well, care of back and legs, dont breeze heavy, i remembered American Pharoah before juvenile Breeders Cup and Calculator on road to Derby, happy birthday Secretariat, in youtube is video where you joyfully play and breeze in paddock, i remember you, Chromy when you will want to come to home, :-) you can mount on boeing with relayable pilots and to fly to home, :-) beautyfull Zenny Ziconic Coz kiss your soft noses, lil 14z i remember you
Picture of Coz and Mike really was a wonderful way to start the week. They suit one another. Proud of CC’s performance. Caught four wide in those turns was very bad racing luck. It’s not that I don’t want him to go to Ascot but to take him away from the only trainer he’s ever had and his home is too much. Can’t even imagine the idea of replacing John with a new trainer for the Queen. And yes I do know he’s a racehorse but I also know a horse doesn’t forget the people that have loved and cared for him. MOW recognized his jockeys voice after many years had passed. All this talk about CC”s legacy is irritating. Winning the KD is an experience any owner, trainer and jockey would be the dream of a lifetime. Just like the song, “The chance of a lifetime in a lifetime of chance”. With Easter approaching I can’t help but think of Z Princess. Will always miss you baby girl.
Well, we all know that tomorrow is such a very special day in your life Queen Zenyatta. I hope it is wonderful in every way.
I know in Ky it is already April 1st, but not quite here in Ca.
A very Happy Birthday to you!
I know you will be in horse heaven with all the goodies.

Peggy,
Thanks for the “heads up” about the wonderful Big Red’s birthday. Lost him way too soon. That dreaded laminitis takes too many way to soon.
When I go to Claiborne I always take roses for him and Swale!

Darlene,
The article on Bloodhorse.com sort of said that Art was not very happy with going to England with Chromie.
