We don’t know if you’ve had a chance to see 2022 RRC LEXINGTON RIDERS but the Team is entered in the 2022 Real Rider Cup on July 9th in Lexington, KY. Hoping you can all join us in helping route them on!!!

You can help support the Real Rider Cup by picking your favorite rider (Sergio de Sousa) and direct your support for the Real Rider Cup via the rider. Just follow this link to GIVE. All donations go to support the Retired Racehorse Project.

    Happy Friday everyone! Hope everyone and their pets survived the long holiday weekend.
    No one should be surprised that our boy Hovey sees himself as the obvious replacement for Boris Johnson. There’s a great line comparing picking between other candidates with picking which stressage test you’re going to do 🤣

        Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. The double H’s are in play here in NC (Heat & Humidity). We had thunderstorms and the rain came in torrents initiating flash flood warnings. Ugh, summer in the south!

          I am looking again at that recent video of Z from BloodHorse, Zenyatta, Ambassador of Racing, to see if Z looks a little rounder in the tummy area. I actually thought she looks a bit round when I first saw the video. What do you think?

          If she is in foal, we should be hearing something official soon. If so, praying for an easy foaling and healthy Mama Z and Baby Z.

          I think you are right — Z does seem a bit rounder in the girth.
          Guess we will hear something official soon. Sending prayers and wishes for good health, a safe term and a successful delivery –> healthy Mama and foal.
          I do hope we hear some news of Zellda within the next month or so. Hope she is healthy and happy, too.

        As of yesterday there was no report on Zellda. However, breeding farms are required to provide a record of all breedings by August 1st. I’m surprised the breeding to War Front was provided to the JC before the August 1st deadline.

      PS: Frankie D. was second on Nation’s Pride and Roger Moore third on Stone Age. They finished really well, but no catching CC yesterday. Maybe they’ll meet again at the Spa.

      JB, that really was some race. So very Happy for CC. Those odds, wow!
      Think they played “Can’t Touch This” back at the barn after the race.
      Really enjoyed watching Maggie ride up, lean over and give him a big ole pat on his handsome neck. She really appreciated his magnificent effort.

      Dear Judy,
      This so vile — Fishman and every one of those trainers who participated in these acts of cruelty and immorality should serve more than 11 years — maybe the key should be thrown away? He had a criminal disregard for the welfare of the horses (and riders) and total disdain for the veterinary profession. I would hope that he loses his license, too.
      Navarro should certainly serve longer than the five year sentence.

      MONSTER.
      This monster was 51 yrs old and had been a pusherman for approx 20 years.
      Did he lose his soul at age 31 or was he born without a soul? Fall from….not grace.

    Hi everybody, I’m reading a wonderful new book on the bestsellers list, Horse by Geraldine Brooks. She is a Pulitzer Prize author. I think any of the bookworms among us would really enjoy this.
