Dear Team Z,
Is there any chance you could make available the picture of “Remembering Z Princess” in the previous blog. It is the most precious thing I have seen. I would love to have an 8×10 copy. It speaks to the heart and soul.
Sally B. (Auntie cherishes Z and her young)
I would too Peggy! I am sure many of us would. Thanks

October 29 Cherokee Devotional
Something new is always an exciting prospect. It can be anything that changes the face of daily life and brings it into a new pattern that makes us feel better.
Drudgery can take over our thinking and then our actions. Sticking too close to one routine and never having a change is an obvious sign we are heading for drudgery.
If renewal is to come there must be change-even if it is to walk a short distance, talk to someone out of the ordinary, and do something for someone. These things sound simplistic but if they turn our thinking to more creativity or more relaxation, it is worth doing.
I felt that I was leaving all that I had but I did not cry.

Dear Sheena,
Steve Haskin wrote a great article on Adian O Brian’s quest to win the BCC, great article.
Gleneagles is Giant Causeway’s nephew and he came so close to winning; tenacious Tiznow just would not let him. Adian keeps looking for the right horse. The first year he came D Wayne Lucas took him around and told him all the rules and said Giants Causeway would take to being ponied. D Wayne was the enemy, but he had trained for Coolmore in the past and jokingly said he was going to send them a big bill. It is a great article. Love the fact some of your trainers are keeping their horses off Lasix, no reason to add something they have never raced on. Like the fact they are doing a little protest
too. Will be good for those who are against it here.
Love and hugs

Dear Tizgood.A lot on the British FB’s are annoyed all Aidan’s horses are running on Lasix.GH and most of the British are running drug-free.Aidan would LOVE to win the classic!Hugs Sheena
Tizgood
Dear Sheena,
I am sure the british are irritated with Adian;
not very british to use Lasix. A lot of your trainers
that do come here use it, though. But I understand
it is not accepted in UK or Europe, not sure about
Australia or Japan.
Sad about Beholder she is just too high strung to
ship; just does not do will unless she stays in California.
She still has her head case issues, but in a more
mature way. Mandella said she is an agressive mare and
got herself worked up on the flight and made herself
sick. She scoped with a little blood after her work and
they scooped her today and she bled. One good thing
she will race next year. Not sure she could be HOY without
being able to ship; that is why Lava Man did not get HOY as well
he could not take his “show” on the road.
Love and hugs

Dear Kathy.Such a lovely devotional today.A change is as good as a rest as they say.I posted a story on my timeline(I had read it in the newspaper earlier)It’s about an gentleman who had been involved with horses for 65yrs.He was dying and wanted to see his horse Early Morn one last time so the staff at the hospital arranged for the horse to visit him.He died 3 days later and Early Morn will attend his funeral now.Must say I shed a tear.I shed more tears when I heard about the French showjumping horse who had only arrived in the US a few days earlier was found slaughtered and butchered for his meat.I think the new owner is called Debbie Stephans. They are calling it “murder”.
Our Prince Harry visited the US yesterday and got to meet the President. The invictus games will be held in the US next year.Fubu visited his doc on Tuesday his weught is good 9lbs and he got to visit Petco. They were held up by an accident on the interstate a man and woman were killed.Dolly has been modelling a lot of dresses lately and bows to match,Her boyfriend Pierre had sent her one!The ratties have hatties!Poor Gourdon is very sensitib about his skin and Milo thought he would scare us with his peek-a-boo.I hope the ground at Keeneland dries out before tomorrow and Saturday.Have a great Friday eve.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO
Kelly
This is so exciting! Thank you! …….and for such a great cause:) BONUS: Chance to meet the Queen–priceless…hope I win:)
Kathy
Dear Sheena,
Glad you found me! Time’s getting away from me. Wish the whole day went as fast as the mornings! Touching story about the gentleman and his beloved horse. Horrified about the French horse. Yes, I saw Prince Harry on our news. So glad Fubu is doing well. I saw some of Dolly’s fabulous dresses. She’s a fashionista! Ratties looking very cute. They’re in the Halloween spirit! Dry ground at Keeneland would definitely be a plus! Happy Friday Eve. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy XOXO

Tizgood
Dear Sheena,
Just saw Gleneagles cantering on the main track that was muddy and he was skipping over it. He really seemed to be comfortable on it. Hope the rain stops. Beholder is her own worst enemy !!!
Love and hugs

Dear Tizgood I feel very sad for Beholder especially as she had a great chance of winning,Some horses just hate travelling our Red Cadeaux flies to Australia every year.Lasix isn’t allowed over here in Europe. It annoys me when trainers visiting the US use it.I saw Honor Code training today he’s a beauty.Just pray they all stay safe.Hugs Sheena
